MEMBERS OF LONDON ROYAL PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA VISITS SHEKI REGION OF AZERBAIJAN
Sheki, August 5 (AzerTAc). Participants of the Gabalia Second International Festival hosted with support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, members of the well-known London Royal Philharmonic Orchestra visited Sheki region of Azerbaijan.
The visitors who tested sweets of Sheki behind a tea table, arranged in yard of the palace of Sheki Khanate, have listened to young mugham performers Sabuhi Ibayeva and Arzu Aliyev, who sang the Azerbaijani national songs, mughams and tesnifs.
Then, the guests got acquianted with the ancient palace which is a rare pearl of Sheki architecture.
