CHOPIN`S 200TH JUBILEE MARKED IN BAKU
Baku, August 4 (AzerTAc). Museum of Music Culture of Azerbaijan has organized today a night to mark the 200th jubilee of prominent pianist and composer Frederic Chopin.
Director of the Museum Alla Bayramova spoke of the composer`s life and activity. She said UNESCO together with the Polish parliament declared 2010 the year of Chopin.
A concert featuring the composer`s works took place during the night.
The event participants also saw footage on the life and activity of Chopin.
