AZERI CULTURE AND TOURISM MINISTER MEETS UN RESIDENT COORDINATOR
Baku, August 4 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev has met today UN resident coordinator and UNDP resident representative Fikret Akcura.
The discussions focused on the cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United Nations.
They exchanged views on how to carry out new programs and projects in the future.
Garayev underlined the importance of the projects implemented by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism together with UNDP.
The Minister said joint programs should be drawn up not only in tourism, but also culture spheres.
For his part, Akcura praised the current level of relations between Azerbaijan and UN.
He particularly underlined the necessity of cooperation in cultural and tourism areas.
The sides also agreed to hold such discussions systematically.
