Tehran keen in dialog based on justice, respect : President

Hamedan, Aug 4, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here on Wednesday that Iran is keen in dialog based on justice and mutual respect
The President, who arrived in this western provincial capital city this morning on the third round of his provincial tours, made the remarks while addressing a huge gathering of local people.
Referring to conspiracies hatched by the enemies of Iran, he condemned the collaboration of some Iranian people with the enemies of Islam and the nation.
On the West’s approach to Iran’s peaceful nuclear program, Ahmadinejad denounced its colonial attitude towards Iran.
As to recent sanctions imposed on Iran, Ahmadinejad reiterated that Iran does not welcome sanctions. He added that the nation does not pay attention to such policies of the West since the Iranians want to construct their own country themselves and will do so.
The US is trying to gain privileges by exerting pressures on the Iranian nation, the President noted.
On recent sanctions imposed by the EU member states on the country's oil industry, President Ahmadinejad announced that Iran will celebrate the day when foreign countries leave the country’s oil industry.
Ahmadinejad repeated that he was ready to talk with President Barack Obama as he was ready to negotiate with the former US president George W Bush.
President Ahmadinejad said he would take part in the UN General Assembly session in September to set forth his views regarding various world problems. He added that he was ready to meet President Obama on the sidelines of the UN meeting.
The provincial tours started when Ahmadinejad took office for his first term as the Iranian President in 2005.
By visiting different provinces, Ahmadinejad aims to become closely familiar with people’s problems in various parts across the country./end
