Al-Aghbari discusses juvenile criminal justice with PRI

SANA'A, Aug. 02 (Saba)- Minister of Justice Ghazi Shaif al-Aghbari discussed on Monday with the Regional Director of Penal Reform International (PRI) in the Middle East and North Africa Taghreed
al-Qadhi aspects of cooperation in the areas of criminal justice, particularly juvenile cases.

The talks dealt with the organization's support for Yemen to strengthen its efforts
in completing the technical capacity building related to projects that the PRI will
contribute
to implementing them in Yemen during the coming period to strengthen reform efforts
concerning judiciary.
During the meeting, the PRI Regional Director expressed PRI's readiness to provide
all assistance for the priorities of the government of Yemen in the process of
reforms.
The PRI official praised efforts of the Justice Ministry in the process of reforms
and the creation of appropriate legislative structure in line with international
conventions.
