PROJECTS TO BE IMPLEMENTED IN BAYANZURKH DISTRICT
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The governor of the city's Bayanzurkh district B.Batzorig and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Mongolia Mr. Kidokoro Takuo signed Tuesday a contract on realization of two projects, in the Embassy of Japan in Mongolia.
These projects will be implemented in a scope of the “Root of grass-ensuring human's security” program with a financial assistance of USD 180 thousand, or over MNT 250 million.
The “Root of grass-ensuring human's security” program started by the Japanese government from 1989 with an aim to assist people of developing countries based on their needs.
From the year 1990, non-refundable aid of over USD 20 million has been given to Mongolia through some 350 projects for contribution to ensuring the socio-economic sustainable development.
The contract's first project intends to improve environment of educational organizations. In its frames, repair will be done in the city's kindergarten 52 that educates children from the district's 5th, 13th and 22nd khoroos (smallest administrative unit in Ulaanbaatar).
To improve medical services, a building of the district's 1st outpatient hospital will be expanded as well.
