Pars Petrochemical Co. exports hit 137,000 tons a month
Assalouyeh, Bushehr Prov, Aug 2, IRNA – Pars Petrochemical Company in Assalouyeh exported 137,000 tons of liquid gas and styrene monomer to east Asian countries in the Iranian calendar month of Tir (June 22-July 22).
Pars Petrochemical Complex is considered as the first phase of Assalouyeh South Pars gas field.
Over 4.5 million tons of petrochemical products are produced in Pars Petrochemical Complex per year of which 50 percent are exported.
Pars Petrochemical Company is one of the most prosperous petrochemical complexes in Iran, situated in Assalouyeh in the Persian Gulf province of Bushehr, southern Iran.
Its products include ethane, propane, butane, gasoline, ethyl benzene and styrene monomer.
The styrene monomer plant in Pars Petrochemical complex is the largest of such plants in the world./end
