RF, Turkmen presidents discuss cooperation issues by phone.

MOSCOW, July 31 (Itar-Tass) -- Russian and Turkmen Presidents Dmitry
Medvedev and Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov in a telephone talk on Saturday
discussed cooperation issues and prospects for bilateral contacts.
The talk was held on the initiative of the Turkmen side, the Kremlin
press service said.
Discussing current bilateral cooperation issues, the presidents noted
the good development of interaction in various areas. They positively
assessed the work of the intergovernmental commission and the development
of inter-regional ties, which are of great practical importance for
Russian-Turkmen relations, the press service noted.
The leaders underscored the importance of the implementation of joint
mutually advantageous projects, including in the areas of machine
building, agriculture, education and innovations.
They also discussed prospects for bilateral contacts at various levels.
