Yemen to take part in Muslim World League's int'l Mecca meeting

SANA'A, July 30
(Saba)- Yemen will take part in the international meeting of the Muslim World League
(MWL)
which is to be held in Mecca of Saudi Arabia during August 1-3.
Minister of Religious Endowment and Islamic Affairs Hamoud al-Hitar pointed out to
Saba on Friday, upon departure to the meeting, that this participation comes in
response
to an invitation by the MWL Secretary General on the occasion of the 50th
anniversary of the League's establishment.
He indicated that the meeting will address related issues to evaluating and
promoting the MWL role after 50 years of its inception.
Yemen agrees with Saudi Arabia regarding the achievement of the League's goals
which aim at reinforcing its role in the domain of Islamic call and dialogue, the
minister
said.
