President Saleh meets with UK Minister of State

SANA'A, July 28(Saba)- President Ali
Abdullah Saleh met here on Wednesday with the British Minister of State for
International
Development Alan Duncan ,who is currently visiting Yemen.
In the meeting, the two sides discussed relations of the joint cooperation between
Yemen and the U.K. and ways of boosting them in various fields.
The British minister briefed President Saleh on efforts made by the U.K. within the
Group of Yemen Friends to support Yemen in different areas of development,
affirming
the UK's supportive position to unity, security and stability of Yemen, as a
fundamental pillar for security and stability of the region.
President Saleh valued the support provided by the U.K. to Yemen in areas of
development and democracy, noting to the level of the existing distinct relations
between the
two friendly countries and peoples.
