LICENSE FOR INTELLECTUAL GAME “WHAT? WHERE? WHEN?” GIVEN TO ARMENIA CANCELLED AFTER AZERBAIJAN`S APPEAL
Baku, July 28 (AzerTAc). As earlier reported, Armenian national championship for the intellectual game “What? Where? When?” was held in the occupied Azerbaijani territories – in the town of Khankendi in May current year.
The championship has been organized with the official license of the International Association of the Clubs “What? Where? When?”. As the Association ignored the violation of the international law, the Armenian championship of “What? Where? When?” was held in the territory of Azerbaijan.
To this end, the “Atashgah” Intellectual Games Club sent a letter of protest to the International Association of the Clubs “What? Where? When?”, press service of the Foreign Ministry said.
According to the decision passed by the leadership of the Association and the Association`s Commission for Ethical Issues, the license given to the Armenia national championship was cancelled and the commissions of the International Association were told not to recognize the results of the championship.
