VICE MAYOR MEETS DELEGATION FROM TIANJIN
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A delegation headed by Mr. Xin Yuan Ming, head of political council of Tianjin city of China comprising more than 40 political, business officials are visiting Ulaanbaatar city.
The brotherhood ties were established between Ulaanbaatar and Tianjin in 1992. In addition to it, Mongolia opened the Ulaanbaatar Representative on October of last year in Tianjin city. The Representative is an organization which represents not only Mongolia in Tianjin city, but also Ulaanbaatar city.
The delegation from Tianjin expressed its willingness to develop cooperation between the cities in economic sector when they meet with the Vice Mayor of Ulaanbaatar city Mr.B.Baatarzorig and the city's authorities.
Mentioning that the government of China has been carrying out a special policy of investments to develop Tianjin city, the delegation agreed with Ulaanbaatar city to reflex a concept in the agreement of the cities to develop the bilateral collaboration by exploiting the mutual advantages.
Mr. Xin also mentioned that Tianjin seaport is the nearest way to access sea gateway for Mongolia, and noted that commodity turnover of USD 90 million was carried out from Mongolia through the Tianjin seaport by first five months of this year.
The Chinese side spoke about its goal of the visit for studying an opportunity to make investments to Mongolia and Ulaanbaatar city and establishing processing and technological productions in Mongolia.
