WRESTLERS GRAB MEDALS FROM FILA JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Wrestling selected state team successfully has participated in the FILA Junior World Championship. It ran July 20-25 in Budapest city, Hungary.
Mongolia was represented by 11 male and female wrestlers. The women won one silver and three bronze medals, but the men did not manage to grab any.
Among the women, B.Davaasuren won the silver medal at the 48 kg contest, E.Narangerel (44 kg), D.Otgontsetseg (51 kg) and S.Purevkhuu (67 kg) won the bronze ones. S.Battsetseg (women's 59 kg) and B.Khash-Erdene (men's 60 kg) were defeated by their rivals at the matches for bronze medals.
The silver medalist B.Davaasuren beat her opponents from Bulgaria, Belarus and Russia. She was defeated by a U.S wrestler at the final match.
