3 Al-Qaeda members killed in Shabwa
SHABWA, July 26 (Saba)- A security source in the Security Committee of the governorate of Shabwa said on Monday that a group of 15
Al-Qaeda members attacked on Sunday a military checkpoint on road of al-Qala'ah - Safer.
The source told Saba that the attack resulted in the killing of 6 military
personnel and 3 Al-Qaeda elements, out of them a prominent Al-Qaeda leader called
Zayid Ahmed
Awadh al-Daghari.
It went on to say that security apparatuses are currently implementing a security
campaign in cooperation with the military units there to track down on the
terrorist elements
who managed to flee the scene to be presented to justice.
