Yemeni-Turkish security committee to meet Monday in Ankara

SANA'A, July 25 ( Saba)
- The Yemeni-Turkish security committee's third meeting kicks off on Monday in
Turkey's
capital, Ankara, with following up the implementation of the security cooperation
agreement between the two countries high on the agenda.
Deputy Interior Minister, head of the Yemeni delegation to the meeting, Fadhl al
Qawsi, said the five-day meeting will discuss the security relations between the
two countries
and evaluate the outcomes of the previous meetings over combating crime, sharing
information, joint training, activating security cooperation and fighting terrorism
and drugs.
It will also discuss how the two countries care of each other's citizens inside
them, he said, pointing out that the cooperation on sharing information, data about
wanted
suspects and fighting crime as well as issues related to consulate affairs or
humanitarian aspects has been developed.
On the visit, the Yemeni delegation will visit some security services in Turkey to
learn from their expertise, he concluded.
