Delegates arrive in Sana'a for second conference of ACINET

SANA'A, July 25 ( Saba) -
A number of delegates have arrived in Sana'a for the 2nd conference of the Arab
Anti-Corruption
and Integrity Network (ACINET) that will kick off Monday in Sana'a. They included
undersecretary of Foreign Affairs Ministry of Algeria Salima Abdelhak, chairman of
the Moroccan
Central Anti-Corruption Authority Abdul Salam Abu Tarar and advisor at the Murphy
Consulting Jonathan Murphy. They expected in statements to Saba that the conference
would
produce recommendations for the national anti-corruption strategy based on positive
experiences of some countries in fighting corruption. The conference will also
provide
the opportunity to exchange views and new thoughts to promote the role of the
ACINET, they said. Earlier, Deputy Chairman of the Syrian Investigation and Control
Institute
Taiseer Badour and Mr Luca G. Castellani, Legal Officer, Secretariat of the United
Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) arrived in the country for
the
meeting. They said the meeting will deal with topics related the battle against
corruption in the Arab World and ways to help the governments to boost
administrative development
through setting out effective plans and strategies for fighting corruption. MD/MB/FR
