AZERBAIJAN TEAM TO JOIN BARCELONA EUROPEAN ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIP
Baku, July 24 (AzerTAc). A five-strong Azerbaijan national team will compete in the European athletics championship in Barcelona in hammer-throwing, steeplechase, 5000 meter events and marathon.
Tilakhun Aliyev and Gezashin Safarova will join the marathon, World junior champion Layesh Abdullayeva the steeplechase, Khayle Ibrahimov the men`s 5000 meters and Dmitriy Marshin the hammer-throwing event.
