Pak analyst: US must change strategy on Iran

Islamabad, July 24, IRNA - A senior Pakistani analyst on Friday urged the United States to change its strategy towards Iran lashing out the States' policy against the country.
Speaking to IRNA, Muhammad Saleh Zafar endorsed the statement of the deputy commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Hossein Salami who had said that the US will not survive unless it took a "big turn" in its policies towards Iran.
"Time is ripe for the US to make a big change in its strategy. They should accept a world of equality for their survival," said Salami.
“Salami was absolutely right in making such statement”, Saleh Zafar said stressing that US is not in a position to bear the burden of wars.
He added that the continuous failures of the US forces in different parts of the world could completely shatter the US economy.
Stressing that US had to adopt a balanced approach towards Iran, Saleh Zafar said the only way to gain respect in the world is to respect others.
“Time has come for the US to respect the will of the Iranian people”, said the analyst, urging US and its allies to change their aggressive approach towards Iran./end
