CIS TO HAVE INTERSTATE ANTI-CORRUPTION COUNCIL
Baku, July 23 (AzerTAc). On 29-30 July the CIS Executive Committee will discuss the draft of the Commonwealth Interstate Anti-Corruption Council.
It is impossible to combat against corruption in the conditions of globalizing finance and criminality without coordination of efforts. On this purpose, it is necessary to activate multi-sided coordination in fighting this evil and raise effectiveness of the measures taken in the CIS space.
Major goals of the CIS Interstate Anti-Corruption Council, a branch cooperation body, is to organize and coordinate this combat, conduct monitoring of realization of the obligations taken by CIS member states and constructive cooperation with the relevant international and regional mechanisms.
The Council will also be engaged in the issues of staff training and specialization, creation of appropriate structures in the member countries, carry out joint scientific researches.
