PRESIDENT ALIYEV: NOW AZERBAIJAN IS COUNTRY WITH VERY GREAT AND POSITIVE IMAGE
Baku, July 23 (AzerTAc). Now Azerbaijan is a country with very great and positive image, President Ilham Aliyev said Thursday at a ceremony to inaugurate a new building of the Press Council.
The Head of State noted Azerbaijan is one of rare countries to become a member of both the Council of Europe and Organization of the Islamic Conference. He added the country`s position was strengthening in both organizations.
President Ilham Aliyev pointed out Azerbaijan plays and will play very important role in development of inter-civilization dialogue, adding the country has already hosted several relevant international events.
“Our geographic position, our past, generally the policy that we are pursuing will increase Azerbaijan`s role in this direction”, the President underlined.
