LOCAL NEWS FROM ERDENET

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ In frames of technological innovation, an air compressor made by the "Atlas copco" and of model "ZH 1000-4", has been put into exploitation by experts of Enriching factory at the "Erdenet" Mining Corporation.
The compressor has a capacity 150 cubic meters. Thanks to it, a ore processing will increase to 32 million ton. The features of the devise are full automatization and a sound protection.

High voltage converter and first electrogenerator pump have been renewed at the waste department of the "Erdenet" Mining Corporation through effort of Mongolian engineers.
D.Tsagaach, a general electric engineer, who has conducted the renewing, said Ukraine specialists had been demanding $23 thousand for this job, "and now we are satisfied with our own work".
Renewed pump's capacity is 11 thousand cubic meters.

Some 120 families get a permanent electricity in Erdene baga (smallest administrative unit in localities), Bayan-under soum. A population of ther province has been increasing day by day, for example, 19 bagas have appeared in Bayan-Under soum, Erdenet city.
At a 150 million togrog investment from the aimag's budget, a transformer of 63 kl watt, 800 meter line with 6,000 kl/voltage, 4,000 meter line with 380V, 220V have been installed on eight street of Erdene baga. The performer of the job is the ''Zaan soyo'' LLC.
