PRESIDENT'S ADVISOR MEETS EXPERTS OF WIPO
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A senior advisor to the President of Mongolia P.Tsagaan received Thursday a delegation of the World Intellectual Property Organization's (WIPO) experts who have arrived here to work out a national strategy of Mongolia on intellectual property.
Present at the meeting were Mrs. Franceska Tozo, a senior advisor to the WIPO in charge of project management; Mr. Liu Ji, a WIPO's expert for Mongolia; and N.Chinbat, a head of the Intellectual Property Office of Mongolia (IPOM).
Mr. Tsagaan said he appreciates the project on drawing up the national strategy of intellectual property, and added that the State Head of Mongolia and the Presidential Office will support this project's activities.
"Although Mongolia's economy is developing intensively in recent years thanks to its mineral resources, the intellectual property matters and protection of it have been very important for Mongolia's proper development," P.Tsagaan stressed. He wished the experts success and asked them to pay attention to effectively realizing the intellectual property project.
Mrs. Tozo thanked the Presidential Office for supporting the project, and expressed her satisfaction with the meeting outcome.
