Baku, July 22 (AzerTAc). A meeting on the 135th anniversary of the national press took place in front of the monument of founder of Azerbaijani press Hasan bay Zardabi in Ichari Sheher (Inner City).
The event was organized by the state historical and architectural reserve department “Icherisheher”.
Chief of the department`s research study and foreign relations Anar Guliyev told of history and development of Azerbaijani press dating back July 22, 1875, when the first edition of “Ekinchi” newspaper published.
