LIST OF CONCESSIONARY OBJECTS APPROVED
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Wednesday's regular cabinet meeting discussed and approved a list of concessionary objects with an aim to start the great constructions that will directly influence the country's economy and social life.
Prior to approval of this list, a document on state policy of private sector partnership and the law on concession were passed in accordance with a parliamentary resolution.
The list contains 91 projects and measures, and creates conditions to begin the biggest works of infrastructure and social basic services from July and August. The Minister of Finance S.Bayartsogt; a head of the State Property Committee (SPC) D.Sugar; and Ch.Khashchuluun, a head of the Committee of National Development and Reform were ordered to reflect the money, needed for implementation of the projects and measures, in the basic guidelines of socio-economy development and in the annual state budget. The officials were also obliged to involve the above projects and measures in other projects of international banking and financial organizations and to attract investments of private sector.
The SPC took obligations to approve concession treaties of the projects and measures in the list by the cabinet and give a report on implementation course of the list and its consequences to the government every January.
