Iran's National Football Team draws 1-1 tie in friendly with Lazio

Tehran, July 22, IRNA – Iranian National Football Team drew 1-1 ties in a friendly with Italian team Lazio in an away match.
Iran’s goal was scored at the 11th minute of the game by Zowb-e-Ahan Club national player Mohammad-Reza Khal’atbari and Lazio’s goal was gained at 77th minute by Mark Bursinos.
The Iranian National Football Team that is preparing itself for participation at the final phase of the Asian Nations Football Championship was at a training camp in Austria prior to the Wednesday friendly in Italy.
Iran is grouped with Iraq, North Korea and the United Arab Emirates at this phase that would begin in early winter season of 2010 in Qatar.
It was Iran's third warm-up match in Europe. The other two were in Austria.
The first was a one-all draw against Serbia's Red Star Belgrade and the second a 1-0 victory over the Hungarian side Vashash.
