AZERI PARLIAMENT`S VICE-SPEAKER MEETS NDI REGIONAL DIRECTOR FOR EURASIA
Baku, July 21 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan Parliament`s vice-speaker Bahar Muradova has met today Laura Jewett, National Democratic Institute`s regional director for Eurasia.
During the meeting, Muradova praised the relationship between Azerbaijan and the United States. She added the two countries had good opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation even more.
Muradova also underscored the importance of “such meetings and discussions”.
Laura Jewett, in turn, said positive changes had happened in Azerbaijan over 15 years.
Jewett also noted during the meeting she would have meetings with officials and representatives of NGOs.
