Baby still on Kylie's mind

Pop princess Kylie Minogue has not ruled out having a baby of her own after meeting
her newborn nephew Ethan for the first time this week.
Minogue flew home to Melbourne early Monday morning, days after sister Dannii and
her partner Kris Smith celebrated the arrival of their first child, Ethan.
Minogue described little Ethan as "just beautiful".
When asked on the Nine Network's A Current Affair program if she still thought about
having a baby, the 42-year-old singer said: "Yes, sometimes. I really don't know if
that's going to happen for me. All I can say is, we'll see."
If she did fall pregnant, Minogue indicated she would follow Dannii's lead and come
home to Melbourne to give birth.
"Quite possibly, yeah. There's nothing like having a mum around," she said.
She spoke candidly about her first encounter with baby Ethan at Dannii's home in
Melbourne's east.
"He had just woken up and was getting ready to have a bath," she said.
"I can share a funny story with you. I'm sure Kris and Dannii wouldn't mind.
"They were preparing him for a bath and Dan said, `Go on, have a nudie cuddle `cause
he's just so tiny and precious and beautiful.
"I did that and then she said, `Take him to the bathroom', and I did. Carried him
through there and Kris had his towel, just a towel wrapped around him.
"And I thought, `That's okay, because he's just got up. So we have a chat in the
bathroom and I'm thinking, `The bath's right there. That's an awful lot of water for
a little baby'.
"Jetlag, no common sense, then I suddenly realised, `Oh, you're going in the bath
with Ethan. Sorry, that's why you've got a towel wrapped around you. I'll just get
out of the bathroom."
Minogue praised her boyfriend, Spanish model, Andres Velencoso, as "a very stable,
honest, fun guy" who is now "part of the family".
She is preparing for her first television appearance in Australia in 10 years on Hey
Hey It's Saturday tonight.
