Legislations approved within requirements for WTO accession

SANA'A, July 20 (Saba)
-The Cabinet approved on Tuesday a package of legal and regulatory legislations
within the
fulfillment of requirements for Yemen's accession to the World Trade Organization
(WTO).
The Cabinet instructed the concerned agencies to complete the constitutional and
legal procedures for issuing these legislations.
The package, submitted by the Public Policies Committee for joining the WTO,
includes 11 draft laws and five draft resolutions aiming in a whole at removing the
distinction
between Yemenis and non-Yemenis in rights of trafficking and transferring relative
duties to lump sum as well as enacting new laws for rights of intellectual property
in
coincidence with the date of accession.
