ABOUT "CHINGIS KHAAN" JUDO WORLD CUP

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Mongolia will host the Chingis Khaan Judo World Cup competitions for the second time. Co-organized by the International Judo Federation (IJF) and the Judo Federation of Mongolia (JFM), the events will run July 24-25 in the Central Palace of Sports.
For the time being, 300 judoists and coaches from 25 countries have reported to participate in the competitions. As for the host country, Mongolia has the right to have its four judoists compete in every weight category. The Republic of Korea will send the largest number of judoists, moreover, three times Olympic gold medalist of Japan Tadahiro Nomura will attend the competitions.
The Mongolian judoists, coaches and referees who have participated in the World Cup will rest in "Terelj" natural complex near Ulaanbaatar and in the "13th century" complex. On July 27-29, the judoists will have international joint training.
By the way, the judoists of the selected team are having an intensive training for the Chingis Khaan World Cup in the "Olymp" sports camp in Orkhon aimag.
