SNACC investigates 8 corruption cases
SANA'A, July 22 (Saba)- Supreme National Authority for Combating Corruption (SNACC) announced that it finished investigationin 8 corruption cases.
Vice chairman of the authority Bilkis Abu-Osba said in an Interview, which was published in al-Syaseiah newspaper on Monday, that the two cases have been referred to the Public Prosecution.
She briefed that the authority is still studying 36 cases and it kept many cases they are not included in the authority's mission.
Regarding the scholarship cases, Abu-Osboa affirmed that 50-60% from the financial disclosures at 47 cultural attachés that reach YR 16.
80 billion have been cleared.
Abu-Osba made reference that the authority agreed with Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to give a final chance for the cultural attachés till the end of July to clear their financial disclosures.
She said that the authority would refer the files of those who will not clear their financial disclosures after the end of time limit.
