Yemen, Saudi Arabia discuss exchanging social experiences
TAIZ, July 22 (Saba)- Governor of Taiz Khaled Assoufi discussed on Monday with the Saudi Governor of Kulwah Hamid al-Mughni Yemen's local authority experience and exchanging expertise between thetwo countries in field of social development.
In the meeting, Governor Assoufi highlighted unique relations between Yemen and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under sponsorship of President Ali Abdullah Saleh and Custodian of the two Holly Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz.
Secretary General of Taiz local council Mohammad al-Haj presented a detail on local authority experience in Yemen during the past seven years and reviewed administrative distribution in the governorate.For his part, the Saudi official praised Yemeni leading experience in field of local authority and decentralization in managinggovernorates affairs.
Then al-Mughni paid a visit to Haifan district where he met head and members of local council there who acquainted him with local authority experience, expertise in local society and role of small projects in development.
