FOREIGN MINISTER MEETS MR. STEINBERG
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Foreign Affairs G.Zandanshatar met Monday with Mr. James Steinberg, the U.S Deputy Secretary of State, who is paying a one-day working visit to Mongolia.
At the meeting, the sides concluded the present situation of the Mongolia-USA relations, and affirmed their willingness to forward the comprehensive partnership ties based on common values of democracy, human rights and freedom. They shared views on the foreign policy of Mongolia and the security in the Central Asia and Northeast Asia.
Mr. Steinberg noted that the U.S government congratulates again Mongolia on the 20th anniversary of the democratic movement. He underlined that the U.S. Administration considers Mongolia is an exemplary country in the Central Asia in terms of developing the democracy.
