METEOROLOGY INSTITUTE REPORTS
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology has revealed that maximum precipitation was in Bayankhongor aimag's Galuut soum aimag (94.9 mm) in June, 2010.
The absolute high air temperature reached 41.2°C in Choibalsan, Dornod aimag, whereas absolute low air temperature was 3.3° C in Terelj near Ulaanbaatar city and in Khatgal soum, Khovsgol aimag.
Maximum wind speed reached 28 m/sec in Zavkhan soum, Uvs aimag. Concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded one time n the 32nd circle in Ulaanbaatar, around the 13th micro district and the Palace of Officers; particulate matter less than 10 micrograms exceeded one time in 1st micro district from the maximum allowable concentration of air quality standard in June, 2010.
