Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ According to the report of the Bank of Mongolia, money supply (broad money or M2) at the end of June, 2010, expanded to 3,523.6 bln.tog increasing by 269.5 bln.tog or 8.3 percent compared with the end of May 2010, and increasing 1,084.4 bln.tog or 44.5 percent agaist the same period of the previous year.
At the end of June, 2010, currency issued in circulation reached 447.4 bln.tog decreasing 15.2 bln.tog or 3.3 percent against the end of May 2010, and increasing 89.7 bln.tog or 25.1 percent against the same period of the previous year.
Loans outstanding at the end of June, 2010, amounted to 2,882.6 bln.tog increasing 29.9 bln.tog or 1.0 percent compared with the end of May 2010, and by 323.7 bln.tog or 12.6 percent against the same period of the previous year. Meanwhile, principals in arrears decreased by 14.8 bln.tog or 11.6 percent compared to the end of May 2010, and by 39.5 bln.tog or 25.9 percent agaist the same period of the previous year to 112.7 bln.tog at the end of June, 2010.
At the end of June, 2010, the non-performing loans over bank system reached 402.9 bln.tog, decreasing 11.9 bln.tog or 2.9 percent against the end of May 2010, and increasing 105.0 bln.tog or 35.2 percent against the same period of the previous year.
