Russia supports initiative to hold OSCE summit in Astana this year.

ALMATY, July 17 (Itar-Tass) -- Russia supports Kazakhstan's initiative
to hold an OSCE summit in Astana before the end of this year, Russian
Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
The time and the place for the summit will be officially considered in
the near future, he told reporters on Saturday,
The date of October 29-30 was proposed on Saturday. It will be
formally discussed soon, the minister said.
Kazakhstan currently chairing the OSCE has the right to host the
summit in its territory, he added.
