Fidel Castro warns against military actions towards Iran, DPRK.

HAVANA, July 17 (Itar-Tass) -- Fidel Castro met with heads of Cuba's
diplomatic representations abroad.
Castro discussed with ambassadors the "serious threats" which the
mankind will face in case of possible military actions against Iran or the
DPRK, official sources said on Saturday.
Castro's Friday meeting with diplomats was his fifth appearance in
public over the past ten days. While answering questions from the meeting
participants he used information from various media and analytical
documents, he spoke clearly and gestured actively.
The pressure, which Iran experiences now, is similar to that on
Mohammad Mossadegh in the 1950s, when he was the country's prime minister,
Castro said. Mossadegh was overthrown in the overturn organised by the USA
and the UK, he added.
He emphasised that an attack on Iran surely will cause a large-scale
military conflict.
"All responses /to possible aggression/ are pre-planned, and it will
be a matter of several seconds," he said.
A few days earlier, Castro participated in an analytical TV show the
Round Table, where he commented on major international events and paid
special attention to the situation around Iran and the DPRK. Castro
visited Cuba's centre for international economy research. A week earlier,
he paid a visit to the National Centre for Scientific Research, and it was
his first appearance in public since July 2006 when he fell ill and left
all state positions.
