Egyptian diplomat: Yemen-Egyptian economic relations are distinct

SANA'A, July 16
(Saba) - The Egyptian ambassador to Sana'a Mohamed Morsi Awad has described the
Yemen-Egyptian
economic relations as distinct and fruitful even with the current financial crisis
that rocked the world last year.
In an exclusive interview with the NewsYemen.net, Awad said that the investment
relationship between Yemen and Egypt should be more times than its current
situation, since
there are no restrictions in trade and investment between the two countries.
He pointed out that there are great horizons for boosting the economic relations
during the coming period, noting that there is a wide range of agreements and joint
ventures
and programs that have began to be implemented already.
It is expected that the Yemeni-Egyptian investment relations jump great strides in
the coming period to close to a distinguished level reached by the relationship at
the
political level, Awad said.
He pointed out that the cultural aspect also takes a great deal of the concerns of
the Egyptian embassy, which organizes weekly in the cultural center either a
cultural
event or an art exhibition or a seminar for Yemenis.
