PROSECUTOR-GENERAL SENDS OFFICIAL LETTER TO SPEAKER

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Prosecutor-General D.Dorligjav sent Thursday an official letter to the Parliament Speaker D.Demberel. This letter, which is about abstaining powers of positions of Ch.Sangarragchaa, a head of the Corruption Combating Agency (CCA) and its deputy head D.Sunduisurenis, has been sent to parliament for the second time.
The previous letter was sent three weeks ago, but matters have not been tackled followed by the parliamentary spring session break.
The letter states that some officials led by B.Bat-Erdene, head of the Standing committee on justice, wrongly explained laws "with purposes not to have the Standing committee make decision till the break of the parliamentary session when there is no legal time to make decisions".
The Prosecutor-General wants the Speaker to conclude managing activities of the Standing committee on justice and to make a certain decision before the parliamentary session's break.
