PRESIDENT ARRIVES IN ULAN-UDE
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ The President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj and his spouse Mrs. Kh.Bolormaa arrived Wednesday in Ulan-Ude city of the Buryat Republic, a Federal Subject of Russia, to participate in the 4th General Session of World Mongolians' Forum. The State Head was welcomed by V.V.Nagovitsyn, the president of the Buryat Republic and his spouse.
The Forum of World Mongolians is an organization with key purposes to protect and develop language and scripts, culture, traditions, custom and nomadic civilization of the Mongolian nationalities, to unite endeavors of the Mongolians for propagandizing them, and to strengthen the connections of the Mongolians living around the world.
It is considered that the 3rd General Session of the Forum held 2008 in Vienna, Austria significantly contributed to strengthening and enriching the Mongolian language and culture in the present era of the globalization, writing the present history of Mongolians, and forwarding relations and connections with Mongolia, the birthplace of ancestors of the Mongolians.
The Mongolia's President and his spouse have been accompanied by D.Idevkhten, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Russian Federation; MPs R.Gonchigdorj, D.Ochirbat; Yo.Otgonbayar, the Minister of Education, Culture and Scienceü and other officials.
