CABINET MEETING IN BRIEF

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Wednesday's cabinet meeting discussed a draft amendment to the criminal law initiated by E.Bat-Uul MP. The amendment was rejected to support due to some reasons.
The Minister of Finance S.Bayartsogt was ordered to increase effectiveness of the works of realizing the transparency of extractive production in Mongolia, to reflect the expenditure for the works in the Premier's annual budgetary packet and to finance it, from 2011. In frames of the initiative of the transparency of extractive production, the Mayor of Ulaanbaatar city and governors of aimags and their soums, and the city's districts were ordered to deliver a report on incomes of taxes, payments and fines from license holders on minerals and extraction, cash and non-cash donations and other assistance to the administrations of the city, aimags and soums.
The cabinet approved an inter-governmental agreement between Mongolia and Turkey on cooperation in combating terrorism, which was inked June 25, 2010 in Ankara city, the Republic of Turkey.
A delegation headed by G.Zandanshatar, the Minister of Foreign Affairs was allowed to take part in the 17th Ministerial Meeting of the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) to be held July 22-23, 2010 in Hanoi city, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The Minister Mineral Resources and Energy D.Zorigt was allowed to pay a working visit to Japan from July 28 to August 3, 2010.
