ORDER OF CHINGIS KHAAN AWARDED
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The supreme state prize of Mongolia--Order of Chingis Khaan--has been awarded R.Gonchigdorj, a politician and MP. A related decree was issued by the President Ts.Elbegdorj on occasion of the 804th anniversary of the Great Mongol Empire and the 89th anniversary of the People's Revolution of Mongolia.
The Order is given for his significant contribution to strengthening achievements of the Democratic Revolution, forming the democratic parliament and developing the democratic and legal community.
After the ceremony, held in the State Ceremonial Hall of the Government House, the President emphasized that R.Gonchigdorj MP is one of the distinguished leaders of the Democratic Revolution in Mongolia. "Mongolian people and the state highly appreciate his service at the State Conference and his works on the post of the Vice President of Mongolia," Elbegdorj stressed, and mentioned about the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the State Conference--the very first democratic parliament of Mongolia.
