Cloke suspended for striking Boak

Collingwood have been dealt a blow ahead of their AFL blockbuster with St Kilda, as
key forward Travis Cloke was hit with a two-game suspension for striking.
Cloke was reported for striking Port Adelaide midfielder Travis Boak last Friday
night at AAMI Stadium, and the match review panel on Monday adjudged the strike a
level-four offence, which drew a three-game ban.
Cloke can reduce the penalty to two games with an early guilty plea, which would
rule him out of the clash against the second-placed Saints and the round-17 game
against Richmond.
The panel imposed fines on six St Kilda players and seven Brisbane Lions for their
involvement in a melee at three-quarter time at the Gabba on Saturday night.
Saints skipper Nick Riewoldt and teammates Lenny Hayes, Jason Gram, Nick Dal Santo,
Sam Fisher and Andrew McQualter were all fined, as were Lions Brendan Fevola, Jack
Redden, Pearce Hanley, Ashley McGrath, Todd Banfield, Joel Patfull and Amon
Buchanan.
The melee was sparked when Buchanan slammed into the back of Riewoldt and the Saints
star dragged him down in retaliation.
St Kilda defenders Sam Gilbert and Jason Blake can escape with reprimands.
Gilbert was charged with engaging in rough conduct against the Lions' Simon Black
and Blake was booked for tripping Brisbane's Jack Redden.
Richmond midfielder Daniel Jackson faces another two games on the sidelines, this
time for engaging in rough conduct against Fremantle's Hayden Ballantyne at Etihad
Stadium on Saturday night.
Jackson's charge drew a three-game sanction, which he can reduce to two games with a
guilty plea.
Jackson was suspended earlier this season for three games for headbutting Hawthorn's
Campbell Brown in round eight.
Essendon onballer Leroy Jetta faces one game out for making unreasonable and
unnecessary contact to the face of Melbourne's James Frawley at the MCG on Sunday.
North Melbourne defender Daniel Pratt was fined $1950 for abusing an umpire at the
SCG on Sunday.
