YCSR, Al Owais Cultural Foundation sign MoU

SANA'A, July 10 (Saba) -Yemen Center for
Studies and Research (YCSR) and Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation in
United
Arab Emirates signed here on Saturday a memorandum of understanding (MoU).
The memorandum, signed by Head of YCSR , Dr. Abdul Aziz al-Maqaleh and
Secretary-General of Al Owais Foundation Abdul Hameed Ahmed, aims to organize the
cooperation between
the two sides to serve their goals and exchange views, visits, books, periodicals
and scientific and cultural information as well as to link the libraries of the two
institutions
via the electronic network.
The memorandum stipulated that the two institutions announce whenever possible on
their activities and events, particularly awards and cultural activities and each
institution
represent the other in its country and each one can avail from the other part's
techniques within the internet network or other information network.
The two sides voiced their readiness to implement joint projects under agreements
and protocols in addition to exchanging information and documents on topics of
common concern.
In a statement to Saba, Dr. al-Maqaleh indicated that what calls for confidence
that the agreement signed between the center and the foundation would be
implemented is to
start with preparing for a number of joint activities, including a seminar to be
held early next year.
For his part, the secretary-general of Al Owais foundation considered signing the
agreement an advanced step towards activating the cultural cooperation between
Yemen and
UAE.
