Yemen presented MoU on joining to Kuwaiti LIN

SANA'A, July 10 (Saba) - Kuwait
presented on Saturday a Memorandum of Understanding to Yemen to be joined to the
Legal Information
Network (LIN) in Kuwait.
The MoU was handed over by Kuwaiti outgoing ambassador to Yemen Salem al-Zamanan to
Minister of Justice Ghazi al-Aghbari, who welcomed the Yemen's accession to the
Kuwaiti
LIN, asking for a chance to study the MoU and Yemen's advantages from joining to the
network.
Al-Aghbari and al-Zamanan discussed mutual cooperation relations between the two
brotherly countries and means of boosting them in judicial field.
The Minister hailed the efforts of the Kuwaiti diplomat in developing the
Yemeni-Kuwaiti relations, particularly in judicial field, wishing to activate the
judicial agreement
signed previously between the two countries.
Under the judicial agreement, the two countries agreed on extraditing criminals,
transferring sentenced people and on recognizing and implementing the judicial
sentences
and formal contracts.
"The cooperation agreement will push the Yemeni-Kuwaiti relations up and will unify
the attitudes towards issues of common concerns, especially crimes of terror,
trafficking
and piracy", he said.
In return, al-Zamanan renewed Kuwait's supportive position for Yemen's unity,
security and stability, praising the cooperation he received from the government
and Justice
Ministry in facilitating carrying out his tasks in Yemen.
It is worth to mention that the diplomatic tenure of the Kuwaiti ambassador in
Yemen is to be concluded at the end of the current July.
