Last stage of Chinese-Pakistani drill begins in Lanzhou region.

BEIJING, July 9 (Itar-Tass) - The last third stage of the joint
anti-terrorism drill by Chinese and Pakistani troops Friendship 2010 began
at a training ground in China's Lanzhou military region on Friday.
The two countries' troops have to destroy a group of terrorists that
penetrated the Chinese-Pakistani border, the Xinhua news agency said.
This year's drill is the third of its kind between the two nations in
six years. It is aimed at upgrading the two countries' capabilities in
fighting terrorism and safeguarding regional peace and stability.
The exercise will end on July 11.
Taking part in the drill are 200 servicemen of the two countries'
special action troops.
