Preparations for comprehensive survey on laborers, child labor underway

SANA'A, July 07 (Saba) - The Labour and Social Affairs Ministry is
preparing in cooperation with the
Yemeni Laborers' Union YLU for implementing a comprehensive field survey
on Yemeni laborers and child labor across the country. The survey will
take place in the coming months,
Secretary General of the YLU Ahmed BalKhadr said. He added that the
union had signed an agreement with the government for starting the
implementation of the 3rd stage of
the wage strategy in March 2011 that will cover all laborers at the
public productive and administrative systems. FR
