Rosso`s TV show falls flat
Tim "Rosso" Ross's first solo venture since the break-up with comedy partner Merrick
Watts has fallen a little flat with audiences.
Ross ended the 11-year radio partnership of Merrick and Rosso when he quit Sydney
radio station Nova 969 last year to pursue other television projects.
The first audiences have seen of him is on prime time comedy show Australia Versus,
which premiered at 9.30pm on Tuesday on the Seven Network.
But it seems more than a few missed it.
Ross and Seven are sure to be disappointed with statistics released by the network
indicating the show peaked at 623,000 viewers.
The figures are almost half those raked in by Network Ten's NCIS: Los Angeles, which
reached 1.046 million viewers in the same time slot.
The Nine Network's Top Gear, which was showing from 8.30pm until 10pm, also scored
higher, with 713,000 viewers tuning in.
Ten's golden egg Masterchef was the biggest drawcard of the night, reaching 1.852
million viewers, with Seven's Packed to the Rafters just behind at 1.802 million.
