PRESIDENT OF AZERBAIJAN RECEIVES EGYPT`S PETROLEUM MINISTER
Baku, July 7 (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received Egypt`s Petroleum Minister Sameh Fahmy.
Head of Azerbaijan said relations between Azerbaijan and Egypt were successfully developing. President Aliyev said fruitful discussions were held during a recent visit of Egypt`s FM to Azerbaijan. He stressed the necessity to further boost cooperation between the two friendly countries in all fields. The Azerbaijani leader said visit of Egypt`s Petroleum Minister Sameh Fahmy to Azerbaijan gave a good opportunity to develop relations in energy field. Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence the joint activity would be discussed during the next visits of the guest to Baku.
Egypt`s Petroleum Minister praised Azerbaijan`s development, saying he was impressed by what he had seen here. He said there were interesting plans to expand relations between the two countries expressing confidence these initiative would be realized.
