MP : Iran-Syria, model for good neighborly ties

Tehran, July 7, IRNA -- Vice Chairman of Iran-Syria Parliamentary Friendship Group described Tehran-Damascus ties as a model for developing regional cooperation and said that the countries are more determined to further bolstering relations.

Talking to IRNA, Peyman Forouzesh referred to imminent visit to Tehran of President Bashar al-Asad and said that bilateral economic ties are at a high level.

Referring to the involvement of the Iranian experts in implementing Syrian development projects, he said that the two nations are moving forward to progress and further development.

While the US and Zionist regime are trying to undermine cooperation among the regional countries, all-out development and progress of Iran and Syria can help neutralize such policies./end
