Cannon`s son remains in intensive care
The son of former Wallabies hooker Brendan Cannon remains in intensive care but his
condition is said to be continually improving.
Cannon accidentally reversed his four-wheel drive over his son Samuel, fracturing
the 16-month-old's legs and causing internal injuries on Saturday.
Cannon and his wife issued a statement on Tuesday saying their son's condition was
continually improving.
"Samuel's condition is still listed as stable, and he remains in the intensive care
unit of Brisbane's Royal Children's Hospital," the statement said on Tuesday.
Samuel had been playing with his mother Fiona in the back garden of their home at
Sherwood, in Brisbane's southwest, when he suddenly ran over to the car after seeing
his siblings Joseph, five, and Phoebe, three, getting into the vehicle.
